Bad news? Good news? Keep your fingers crossed

Gi just called w/ test results. Apparently the imuran isn't working the way they wanted. Alex has been on imuran since August. he is also being weaned off pednison (currently on .5 ml every other day). So no more imuran for now. i don't know if this is good news or bad news. All I know is that things have been good for a few months and I want it to continue w/ out the imuran. I'm trying not to get overly optimistic. The gi wants to see how he is in a week (more blood tests) to decide what the next course of action should be. Denial mom is hoping nothing else will be needed and the prednison will be dropped.
Thanks again for listening.
Caryn

What were the test results? Was he in the risk of hepatotoxicity range?

I'm right with you in hoping that all will be well! Ellen
