hemangiomas and tonsil growing back-help!

Just got back from the pediatrician to have doc look at a couple red spots on M's body, (head and shoulder)..looks like tiny blood spots that appeared 6 weeks ago, plus throat has been bothering her (felt something in there when she swallowed and I could see a red patch). Anyhow, the red spots are hemangiomas...usually seen in older people, not typically anyone her age, and we're to keep an eye on them and go to dermatologist if need be. As far as she knows, they don't turn into cancer, but they can be hereditary. My husband has had them, but his sister with crohn's also had skin cancer this year (and dad a couple years ago) so I can't be too careful here and I have to check these things out.
The spot in the throat is lymphatic tissue, more than likely a tonsil growing back. It even had a tiny white spot, which she said was a crypt! Oh joy...can't believe that one. Just had them removed a year ago. Her cousin had the same thing happen.
The sun-induced rashes continue this winter, the sunscreen not really helping all that much, but we'll work on better coverage. The pediatrician, being more of a naturopath mind-set, sympathizes with my wanting her off the drug and even said Remi is a chemo drug, just like the kind of drugs her husband is on for his cancer. They have side effects.
I'll be taking M to the ENT in a week to further find out about the lymphatic tissue growing back. The only thing that makes me calm is that all her blood levels are in the normal range so hopefully the big "C" isn't a possibility here, although it always lurks in my mind. With cancer so high on my husband's side and all (colon cancer in 4 of his immediate relatives, then 2 with skin cancer)...well, I worry alot. I'd like to pull the plug on Remi, but M says "mom, I'd rather be in remission and feel good than have the crohn's pain.". What's a mother to do? I suppose she'd still get these issues w/out the drug- as she had the tonsil problem (very large) b/4 crohn's diagnosis and treatment, and had a spider hemangioma under her eye as a young child that eventually went away right b/4 diagnosis. Anyone know about these phenomenas?
